Got to be the most creative name yet - John Smith. I mean, come on, that is just plain lazy.
He tried to get the full SSN and I gave him an ear full, so he relented and ran with just the last 4 digits. They usually will if you give them enough of a hard time or otherwise distract them.
Anyway, usual crap, case #DC7041, blah, blah, blah... then about how he has orders from the Law Enforcement Agency to suspend my SSN. Law Enforcement Agency? I asked him which one. He said that he would give me each and every information if I would just be patient. I gave him hell about not even being able to tell me the name of the agency, and he again just said "Law Enforcement Agency" and that he would give me each and every information in due time.
So then he started reading out the 'charges' against me... three of them this time. Sounded pretty impressive... but of course they were all completely made up. Like the Law Enforcement Act of 1967, section 102, etc, etc, etc... I asked where he got these names and said it appeared he was just making them up as he went along. he insisted they were real statutes, so I told him that I was a lawyer and what he was saying was complete and utter bullshit and it seemed like he was just pulling stuff out of his ass.
"Sir, this is serious and if you do not believe me, then why don't you just hang up the line". I told him that I would not speak with him any longer if he was just going to make shit up. He again said "Well then, if you believe that, why don't you just go ahead and hang up".
