This scam is about getting your credit card numbers and other information.

I am curious how this would work , do they say “give us your Credit Card info and we can save you money” or was there more to it? Giving details about a scam is important towards understanding how to combat them.
How did they contact you initially, an email or text? Did you find a website they use or stumble on a post somewhere?

That is the same pitch used by many Insurance companies in advertisements, so what makes this one a scam?

They used voicemail.

Ok, so why wouldn’t you post what the voicemail said? You posted a number, but why keep the details a secret?

I think it is a lead gen phone. Originally the number belonged to a scammer and now it is a lead generation.

yeah, it sounds like one of those numbers that shows up on your caller ID… it’s a scammer from India if you pick up, but since they don’t want calls in, if you call it back, you land something like this.

i think they’re fair game because so many of these same companies that constantly come up on these have been coming up for years… they know they’re paying referral/affiliate fees out to scam bosses, and they don’t care.

Life Protect 24/7 constantly coming up in these scams for years now makes me angry… they’re a company that’s supposed to be about protecting vulnerable elders… yet they have no qualms about paying out fees to scammers that prey on that same population

The voicemail failed to load on my TextNow number.
