This group claims to have detected hackers on your network and for a small fee of $300-$1000 they can install security to protect you.
They used LogMeIn on a co-workers computer and accepted a Check payment.
Okay, here is the deal. I've had these scammers calling my place of work for over 6 months. they call at least once a month. Someone in my office had fallen victim to their scam last year until I found out about it. Luckily they made a check to this group, so they were able to cancel it.
Lately, I have had this guy from this group named Eric calling. I called him out on his scam then he'll just leave my call going and start scamming other people while he is cursing me. (very talented) but, as I could not waste his time I would just hang up. He would call back several times just to do that.
The number is 1(888)441-9603 as of 1/22/19 this number still worked and Eric will be more than happy to help. He's very arrogant.
Chatted with Eric for an hour. We had a long conversation after I revealed what I was up to and spent about 20 minutes just talking to him human-to-human. He has no remorse for what he’s doing. Says “I manipulate the facts and people pay me. It’s not my fault they’re stupid!” When I told him that what he’s doing is still wrong he just got defensive and spewed about how he makes $50000 a day. and told me “it’s not wrong to take advantage of stupid people!”

@atomicdragon136#72149 I did that like 5 times and he just really did not get that what he was doing is wrong. It was pathetic. I told him he’s cheating and lying and that it hurts people. His only response is “oh that’s not my problem if they’re stupid!”
In Hindi there is one word “Chalaak” which has two meanings: cunning and clever (smart). Many Indians do not make a distinction between being cunning and being smart. In fact when a small boy does mischief, many parents laugh if off and say he is a “very Chalaak” Of course not true with every Indian home.
Thank you all. Glad to see things are coming about from this company. I’ve been dealing with them for over a year altogether at my work. A lot of times they just call and hang up once they realize it’s me on the phone.
Would love to see or hear them get an SYSKEY on their computer. Would love to hear how arrogant Eric is after that.
They had SYSKEY'd my co-workers computer. Luckily it was old and able to change it because they never turn off their computer.
