Additional information about this scam: This is another Microsoft technical support scam on 800TFN. If anyone out there can get someone on the phone with a rep from 800TFN so that they can give us a reliable way to report these scams (there’s too many of them and they ignore the reports on their webform) let us know.
Have had them now for 1 hour 15 minutes on the altered never ending tree 
They tried ms first for connection when that didn’t work it was back to ultraviewer…
She was so confused by the never ending tree and dir modifications.
Finally I had to go. I told her at the beginning that my name was Mitnick (may he RIP). When I had to go I simply pulled up mitnicks security site…https://www.mitnicksecurity.com/
She hung up and logged off of my computer sooooo fast. I almost fell off the chair laughing
I don’t know yet how to track their IP so it was just time sucker for now.
May try again later with the same name and see how it goes
