So I called these guys (Very well organized) today. I managed to setup and story and my problem is currently on hold. Please read all of it…
This was a blue screen of death popup on chrome from claiming it was microsoft tech support.
Story that I made up:
My name is Ethan Ross, and i am a college student in debt. He claims that my chrome book is locked with a virus and he will be able to fix it. But first I need to buy a network security plan made by Thnk Globa,( yes it is spelled thnk). I was offered a 2 year plan which is $110 and a lifetime plan which is $170, claiming it is what macs have and is the next best thing. Me and my room mate share the old chrome book together because we are on a tight budget, so he allowed a $10 discount for a 2 year plan of the network security so now we are playing $100. I said I will need to talk to my friend about the problem because I was using his credit card and we were planning to split 50/50 of the amount. I told him that I will call him back with the info and other stuff. (Oh yeah I also made up the fact that I was stealing my friends credit card to use and my friend is very mad).
I encourage you guys to build off of the story that I made up, things might get interesting with him and his group of scammers.
