Could you put some more info, such as their website, etc.
IRS / CRA Scammers leave a call-back number.
Cold-Call-Scammers can be hard to decide whether they are spoofing an innocent phone number.
Deflection may be a simple option -
"I'm busy right now, call me back after an hour on my other number…"
Give them a confirmed IRS / CRA Scammer Number, or search youtube for One Ring Scam
