I spent around 2 hours on the https://office-comm-setup.com/ website. I even had a chat with them and what I can tell you is that it’s not really a scam, since the links “office.com/setup, www.office.com/setup, Microsoft 365, Microsoft365.com/setup” on the website do eventually take you to the real Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 websites. In my opinion, it’s just shady.

Hello @jacemrazz1992, this domain is infringing on Microsoft’s trademark and is indeed a scam.

It literally says “redirected from Scammer.info” on the chat LOL, so they are obviously not gonna try and scam you.

@jacemrazz1992 I think you’re misunderstanding. They’re not really Microsoft. The person who owns that fake Microsoft website won’t really do anything for you. They’re going to promise you things they can’t do for you. The promises that scammers promise are automatically broken promises. I suggest you ignore everything the scammers do before they manipulate your thinking. When you ignore the scammers, you won’t be taken advantage of.

Hello @thunder, I already said that it looks shady. And the reason it says “redirected from Scammer.info” is because I went to that website from here. Or maybe you are just dumb enough to understand that. I just posted my opinion about the website because I don’t get to the conclusions on someone else’s saying.

You really think I don’t know what a redirect is? :joy: :joy: :joy: :joy:
I was just pointing out, you made a mistake by doing that. The scammers can see you are from this site so obviously they’re not gonna try and scam you… next time just copy the URL and don’t redirect from the site.

I’m gonna try to get an IP from these Microsoft scammers. I might fail at this, but it’s worth a try.

They just tried to make an account.
