Additional information about this scam: I am not sure where I got the number but it was on my phone, they answered as “Microsoft” so I gave them the following details. Invoice email received and it says Item: Windows Defender, Invoice ID #MS084136, Amount: $399.99
They are quick to hang up but are busy with lots of calls going on in the background.

I am getting put into the voicemail, into the message machine. Maybe I’ll get a call back. I’ll try again soon though.
They connected to my VM using remote access software. I talked to Steve Barbosa and then he transferred me to James Martin. Once transferred, he probably found that my fake bank was really fake and then he hung up on me. My VM went to a blue screen. When I hit ctrl-alt-del, and logged back in, it went to the blue screen again. Luckly it took me 30 seconds to restore my VM back to a snapshot. Now their phone number just says “No one is available to take your call” or they hang up.
