Additional information about this scam: Found the number on numberguru, they are sending fake invoices: “Fraudulent Windows Defender invoice” https://www.numberguru.com/phone/866/789/2351/
The scammer will claim you were auto-debited for a 5-year firewall protection plan. In order to “cancel,” you are asked to “open the Google Chrome” and go to cg.s24.help (Code: 68174).
Once the scammer remotely connects to your computer, dubbed as “connecting to their Microsoft Secure Server,” you are asked to open Windows Security and the task manager before having you fill out their “refund form.” (WS489SM)
After you fill out the “refund form,” you will be asked to log into your online banking account. As I don’t do online banking, I played him the Bhenchod Song and he called me a motherfucker.
