Medicare scammers: 931-709-6354

Additional information about this scam: The incoming call was from “Sammy Parker [?] at the Maine Medical Center.” If his accent wasn’t enough of a red flag, the Nashville area phone number and the fact that I’ve never heard anyone call it “the Maine Medical Center” clinched it. He asked if I was a diabetic, and I just trolled him around for a couple of minutes from there. (I guess my asking him if he said his name was Benny Bhenchod was the last straw for him.)
When I called the number a few minutes later, I got a slightly robotic recording that went on about “a red, white and blue Medicare card” and “more benefits.” I eventually ended up talking to “Stacia,” at “the Medicare Benefits Center.” She said they wee based in Orlando, Florida, “but we have offices all around the country.” I was only able to troll her for a a couple of minutes, too.
