Say you get your Medicare A + B ONLY THROUGH THE STATE and afterwards you’ll be asked if you have any supplementary coverage/ private insurance. Say you DO NOT have supplementary coverage / private insurance. Told me am I in Indianapolis, I said yes. I confirmed the zip code as 60411 as just took it… -My VoIP area code number is presently +1 (260) XXX-XXXX.- You’ll then be transferred to someone claiming to be from “NATIONAL SENIOR BENEFIT ADVISOR”.

“Jennifer R(?)”. Sounded American and said we were on a “RECORDED SECURE MEDICARE LINE”. That’s a first; new type of line I’ve heard about being connected on.
Didn’t spell out her last name, didn’t give out her email like she said she would. When I pressed her for more company details, she hung up. Not surprising. Told me she can check to try save me money etc blah blah blah. Didn’t even tell me what state she was in.
It is yet another IP Horizon number! Just like the one I’ve pointed out below (a similar scheme too). All these so-called “lead generators” are nothing but scammers and imbeciles.
As you can see from some of my older postings, IP Horizon’s lovely clientele is NOT new to the world of Medicare impersonation and spamming scam calls:
There are literally millions of these ridiculous scumbag leadgen things in every area code and the occasional ones in all toll free prefixes.
Just pick any area away from long time populated civilian number areas and these things litter the landscape. You can just about dial any random number and there’s an excellent chance one of these crap things is lurking on that number, especially unused VoIP number areas or unallocated newly released numbers.
These insidious things are on numbers which have never been issued and one has to wonder if the FCC aren’t responsible for this crap being there from the get go, as large new blocks of these new numbers are given out to applying telcos for future sale, to scammers both foreign and domestic
I was interested in a couple of scam numbers I’ve discovered, which is a large overseas call center offering free health insurance. The numbers directly adjacent to them on either side are all multi option scammy leadgens with a $100 gift cards as the first option and every other alternate option…CONGRATULATIONS!!!
They offer $100 retail rebate voucher/diabetes supplies/dental insurance/life insurance as the standard rubbish on all these numbers.
The dubious offers vary vastly from area to area
They probably go on every number for who knows how long, I can never be bothered with this mindless shit due to there being so many of the rubbish things everywhere.
Unless you have more than one DID it will say numbers are no longer in service after you’ve dialed a few of them in succession.
This is common throughout most number blocks with crap scams or leadgens
on them all
But I digress
Try seeing what these clowns have to offer with the free health insurance for all, as I personally never speak to lowlife criminal lairs.
I bet it’s simply brilliant whatever it is they’re offering for free.
The laws of economics knows no bounds with these scam clowns or big gov.co clowns
The NPN is directly tied to an individual, so its either her or someone who is impersonating her. But it likely is this woman, working for a less reputable agency. She likely may not know that her company hired an advertiser using illegal robocall tactics and potentially other scammy but not illegal business practices.
IDOI: Licensing go down to Verify Agent/Agency License and it will open up their 3rd party site used.
I used to work in Insurance regulation so I know enough about where to look for these kind of lookups. Not all states are the same and some are actually part of a larger group of states but there generally is a licencse verification function for all of them.
