I just got off the phone with one of those Medicare scammers saying that I qualify for a free medical brace to help with my pain. Of course, the only thing you need to do to qualify is 1) have a Medicare card, 2) say you have some pain, and 3) be breathing - at least for now.
So I play along and feed him a bogus name and Medicare number. Actually, multiple bogus Medicare numbers (I have a little script that generates 10 at a time)! Eventually, he got feed up with all the numbers coming back in error and asked me to take a picture of my Medicare card and text it to 'his personal phone'. I doubt it's his personal phone though, as he had to put me on hold to get the number!
Anyway, FireRTC is toast and I have no means at the moment to play with the number... I can only accept inbound scam calls on my home phone. But for the rest of you who can, the number he gave me was 786-903-2684
