I have a quick question about connectivity to other numbers through this lead generator number 1(800)-940-7629 : Example - as I was dialing into this number at one point the automated voice comes on and says something to the effect of “The original 1-800 number has changed, please press ‘1’ to connect to the new number at a $3.95 connection fee.” … To which I quickly press ‘1’ . So, as I don’t really care about the fee, however, I am curious as to if that is just a fake message or does some sucker actually get stuck with paying that fee?
