Medical scam - Medicare

Extra Info: Claimed to be randomly calling individuals to provide “better medical insurance”. Definitely sounded like a chutiya scammer, and he claimed to be calling from California, despite using an area code for Arkansas.

Saying they were Select Quote Senior. I called the company and spoke with two agents. They only cold call if
you contact them first and ask for a quote online or by phone. They also do not screen the calls coming in. It goes thru a computer that just asks if you have Medicare of if you want supplemental. So it is totally bogus and I reported it.

I have been dealing with a similar group of scammers who impersonate Medicare and Medicaid myself. 877-592-1057. They call from different spoofed numbers. They pose as “Medicare” and “Medicaid”, “Medicare Rewards Plus” and “National Benefits Advisors”. Seem to be US-based. I got annoying voicemails from them to call 877-592-1057. I am nowhere near Medicare age and on the DNC list, but they obviously are a phishing scam and criminals.

It is bad enough to be scammed by Indians but to have Americans do it really is nasty. Especially to seniors

Yes, I cannot agree more! And disabled people too! These “fellow Americans” posing as Medicare and Medicaid clearly have no decency and shame. I got them real feisty and angry when I called them back-to-back and kept pointing out that they break several Federal laws. They get agitated easily sometimes. I’d say, if they’re criminals and chose this lifestyle, then they should not be surprised people curse them out and harass them. They deserve it!

I agree 100%. Same with benchode scammers.
