He got my email and number and tells me to reach out to the OEM vendor directly. Maybe he figured out I am baiting?

When you google things related to cancelling McAfee charges you find the aforementioned link as a sponsored result, and it has a phone number that you can call, listed above. Sponsored result I found are them as McA-fee or McAfeeeee. I called them, I’ve kept scammers on the line for over 2 hours but the guy I spoke to blocked me after 3 minutes. Very suspicious person so be careful when baiting. I saw a post similar to this on here when I searched their number but it’s from last year so thought I’d refresh everyone’s memory. I think the reason he blocked me is because my scambait throwaway email has “Indian” in it. It having that is to do with scambait, it’s related to a chess opening. But maybe he thought it was meant to annoy him or something? So I would avoid mentioning India. At any rate, have fun baiting these guys, and let me know your experience.
For those of you who have gotten far enough in the bait, do these scammers try to get you to install remote access software?
