At 11:15 am central, I called 803 887 8044. Thanks for the email, @gjclmb !
I spoke with Kevin Williams. He asked for the ORDER ID that @gjclmb provided and I gave it to Kevin Williams.
He had me go to the following URL to cancel the auto-renewal ( g e t r e f u n d f o r m dot c o m with no spaces ):
https://getrefundform.com/
While still on phone with Kevin Williams, I used a different phone number of mine to call this 803 887 8044 and I got the generic “The TextNow subscriber you are trying to reach is not available. Please leave a message after the tone.”
So this seems 803 887 8044 is a TextNow number, unless the scammer went to the trouble to record the generic TextNow voice mail greeting and use it as the message machine greeting of a VOIP phone number.
