I got a call from this number on the 21st, called no answer and texted w/ no response. Got a call from them again a couple hours ago and called back. Guy picked up and told me he was McAfee and was calling back bc there was a missed call from this number and he thought maybe I was a McAfee customer.
I know I’m just going ahead and marking this as “scam” and them as an “impersonator” but there really isn’t much in the way of proving that asides from a recording of him saying he is McAfee. I’m trying to probe more information out of the guy who answers, but as far as tech support scams go I ain’t well versed asides from what I’ve seen in scambaiting videos.
