Hello
First of all, I have to introduce myself.My name is Maryam Anicka
Ivanko, I am from Ukraine, and I
lived in
Kharkiv with my Husband before the war started. However, I am
currently displaced with thousands of
other Ukrainians seeking a safe place to hide but the truth is; there
is no safe place again in
Ukraine. The war brought tragedy to us as our homes and properties may
have been destroyed by the
Russian bomb attacks and shootings. I feel very sad because many
people have lost their lives in this
crazy menace of war.
Before the war started, My husband was a human resource manager at one
branch of The Cloud beds here in
Ukraine while I worked as an administrator in The Hryhorii Skovoroda
Kharkiv National Pedagogical
University. I am 42 years old, while my husband is 51 years old, we
have no kids of our own, and my
husband is not present with me because he volunteered to join in
taking up arms to protect the people
he loves, and to also defend his homeland from the invasion of the
crazy and evil Russian soldiers. I
wish I could do anything to help, but it’s beyond my power. I have a
soft heart, I have never seen or
used a gun before neither had my husband, I never even imagined I
would touch it someday, no, it never
came in the line of my thought. lol. I have so much compassion and
regard for human life that I cannot
think of killing a human. Life is sacred but the Russians don’t know
this because their hearts are
evil, and filled with wicked devices already I acknowledge my
husband’s bravery and selflessness, and I
have been praying for my husband’s safety since we parted ways. I Love Him so
much, I miss Him, and I want him to return to me without harm. He is a
philanthropist. He always
encourages and inspires me to help the poor people which I love to do
as well. He is a hero, and I am
very proud of him.
Meanwhile, How is life with you over there? How do you see the war in
our country? Do you think that
this war is fair on us? I do not want war, Ukrainians are dying, so we
want the war to stop. Please
pray for us!
Please tell me a little about yourself and about your family so that I
will be glad that I had the
chance to know someone from your country before death gets to me. I
hope that you will not ignore me
after reading my mail because I am at a very critical and crucial
point in my life.
