MacOS VM on AMD cpu

THIS IS FOR AMD COMPUTERS, IF YOU HAVE AN INTEL COMPUTER THERE WILL BE A DIFFERENT GUIDE.

Note: only AMD FX or AMD RYZEN are supported. Threadripper may work 2nd gen, Threadripper 1st gen will NOT work, EPYC may work 1st and 2nd gen.

a) linux: install a macos theme. Not joking this usually works. Scammers wont run uname or anything like that.
b) full blown virtual machine

1- install the official vmware as noncommercial. Dont bother with pro, we do not need it.
https://www.vmware.com/products/workstation-player/workstation-player-evaluation.html

2- reboot to BIOS/UEFI and enable AMD-Vi/d it may be called virtualization in your case. You may need to spam delete key or something to get into BIOS/UEFI settings. This is on you to figure out.

3- download this https://github.com/paolo-projects/unlocker/releases and run the corresponding script relative to the operating system you are running. Windows should run .bat as administrator, Linux should run .sh as sudo or root if the vmware player was installed into a non-user binary directory, and as a user if it was installed in ~/bin or another user path.

Download the installer https://1fichier.com/?6sviufhhogbbldowz8xb&af=2697653

[flarium is setup to have a maximum number of embeds, and I have reached this, so I will post this in several messages.]

4- Create the virtual machine

Make it however big, 40Gb is kind of suspicious, try 64GB if you can afford the space, 128GB is better, 256Gb is the most believable.
![](upload://h47Xpx0vnnyJaI0vYAqttTUodG2.png)
we will customise the hardware in the next step
![](upload://xk7EZJQuL7GpMdSZpB8mgiXgqxC.png)
We will add some ram, give it at least 4GB, unless you have 12GB+ of ram, then give it 8GB. More than 16GB of ram for macos is unnecessary, as you will not be running many ram intensive programs other than what the scammers run on your pc.
![](upload://auVMaJaHFzbdIBxaVYd2wiKKxZt.png)
Now we will add cpu power.

make this 2 cores less than your machine, a multiple of 2^x, or 8, whichever is lower.
As in 2 cores if you have a quad core single thread
4 cores if you have a quad core hyperthread
or 8 cores if you have a 6 core hyperthread or more.

Use the vmdk file I have given you above on 1fichier.

Now, navigate to wherever your virtual machine is saved.

Mine is in Documents, Virtual Machines, Virtual Machine Name

Find the .vmx file

Open with notepad, you may need to open notepad, then click open on this file.

At the bottom add
bios.bootDelay = "2000"

and if you are a RYZEN cpu, add
cpuid.1.eax = "0000:0000:0000:0001:0000:0110:1010:0101"

if you are an AMDFX cpu do nothing.

Alright, save and lets boot her up

https://1fichier.com/?6sviufhhogbbldowz8xb&af=2697653

I will give this a go and will let you know how this goes.

I get this upon trying to Reinstall macOS.

https://imgur.com/a/yuGpv5G

@Nightinq#131203 That message can appear is two circumstances:

1 **Almost never applies in this scenario**: The installer is actually damaged and you need to re-download it, or obtain it from a different source.

2 **This is much more likely**: Apple applies certificates to these installers to prove it is official, came from them etc. just like the ones websites use. However, also similar to website certificates, eventually they expire and no longer serve their original purpose. The certificates on MacOS installer's will expire too, and the time frame for them being valid is much shorter than that of a website's. To fix this, you need to know the time period the certificate was valid for, open up the terminal and set the VM's date back to a day when it still valid. Mojave was release in September 2018, so I suggest starting around there and moving up. You could also adjust your host systems time, but that might require a reboot of the VM upon each try.

Here is the command you must run, and the way it needs to be formatted:
The command is:
date
and it's syntax is:
usage: date [-jnu] [-d dst] [-r seconds] [-t west] [-v[+|-]val[ymwdHMS]] ... [-f fmt date | [[[mm]dd]HH]MM[[cc]yy][.ss]] [+format]
**Before running this command make sure that your VM does not have Internet access, it shouldn't, but to be sure, you may want to disconnect your host computer's network connection.**

To start you off, here is one that might work:
date 082805452018
08 = month of September, 28 = 28th day, 05 = 05:00 o'clock, 45 = 45 minutes, 2018 = year 2018.

Hopefully this helps, but please comment again if it doesn't.

@Norm_Harrison#131969 Upon doing some personal research, I found that using a .iso instead of your file worked assuming I changed the date to pre 2016.
