A few days ago, I was fishing for tech support scams and I found the number 8443956243 with some garbage about my financial and other personal data be in my stolen. I called them, and actually had a lengthy conversation (about 30 minutes) with them, playing dumb, but also asking them questions that pertained to their illegitimacy and whether or not they were actually Microsoft. Eventually, I told them that they were scammers, and they tried to tell me that they were the “technicians” and that I was dumb. After putting them in their place by exposing the lies they told me about how viruses actually work, we hung up the phone. I called again a few minutes later and their number was down. Today, I decided to call them back to see if they put back up their number, and sure enough they did. They hung up on me after about 30 seconds be clause they recognized my voice.
