Additional information about this scam: This is everything received and a new scam to me: Subject: Notification of Federal Government Deposit and Account Setup
I hope this letter finds you well.
We are writing to inform you that the Federal Government has successfully deposited a sum of $20 million into our bank on your behalf. This deposit was made yesterday morning, and we have been working diligently to process this transaction for you.
We understand the importance of these funds, and we kindly request your confirmation regarding your current banking arrangements with us. If you are already an account holder with Liftfunding Bank, please provide your account details to facilitate the immediate transfer of these funds to your existing account.
However, if you do not currently hold an account with us, we are more than happy to assist you in setting one up. To proceed, we kindly ask you to provide the following information for verification and account creation:
