Looks like Life Protect 247, a Virginia company has picked up a lawsuit for scamming customers of Life Alert, which is a competing company based in California. Similarities in corporate names and marketing slogans of trademarked intellectual property is one item but the most interesting thing of all is how Life Protect 247 was, according to the plaintiffs suing them… deliberately copying Life Alert’s ads.
Let's pray that Life Alert refuses to settle the suit and instead goes all the way.
