I have been getting a lot of calls from Florida (probably because my TextNow area code is set there). Does there seem to be an increase in scammers in Florida?
What happens when the people in Florida call? Do they just hang up if you answer? They’re probably spoofing a local number to get you to pick up, then seeing that you’re answering calls, they can sell the number on to telemarketers.
I believe that they are an insurance scam group. I do not know how big but they arent using 800 numbers so I would imagine they are new at this.
