Legit businesses and how they scam

Billionaire Koch brother's crusade against counterfeit wine - CBS News

This a great story about how legit businesses/brokers scam.

A few important subjects are explained:
The Code of Silence
plausible deniability "a non-disclosure agreement was signed"
what is a criminal and what is a civil offense
why are scammers able to escape justice

This involves wine scams... but it is applicable to anything,
Christie's = Verizon/telecom carriers
scammers who advertise

The reporter interviews a scammer who lies to her face. He says "I don't know, the supplier told me, I cannot disclose the supplier, and I did not follow up to verify what the supplier told me." That's how he is not behind bars and says it with a straight face. Listen to an unsecured lender, lead generator, or any other scammer, the next time they try to explain that they are legit and legal.

@ScammerBlaster#20198 You claimed that you reported the harassment to the local authorities and FBI. You are the one who feels that is a good idea (or at least thought that would be an effective threat). Are you a liar?
