Can someone help me on some things I’d like to learn?
-finding scammers precise (within like a few meters or something)
-making scammers do stupid things right now they refuse to dance
-hacking scammers pc I’ve seen seen pierogi scammer payback use any desk but I can use it without their permission

-I have a pc windows 11
-I use proton vpn free
-I use a voip google voice

It’s all trial and error. People keep tricks close to the chest because the more word gets out the less effective they become. Get creative. Use your imagination, research
I am not experienced at scambaiting and have only done it a few times, most recently today. Kudos to those who can really go after them and get info to turn over to law enforcement.
I certainly would not let the scammers directly into your main computer. I use virtual machines to let them muck around in. However today when I let the scammers into a Windows XP VM, after a few hours of my jerking them around they got suspicious. One of them knew enough to look at the hardware list which showed the type of computer as “VirtualBox”. At that point the game was up, unfortunately before I could get money mule information out of them.
In the past I’ve used a LInux VM mocked up to look like Windows down to a “DOS prompt” (terminal) showing a C: drive prompt and watched them stumble around with nothing working for them. However that requires the bums use a cross-platform remote program such as AnyDesk or TeamViewer, but the dirtbags today were using Ultraviewer which is Windows-only.
Others with more experience probably have better advice but given what happened with me today a real (not virtual) junk PC firewalled off from the rest of your network would probably be a better bet than a virtual machine. Google voice sounds like a good idea but for the few times I’ve done this stuff I just used a burner flip phone.
