Got a Mr. Gary Cole. Had him for about a half hour. SOB tried 4 different times to get my full SSN over the course of the call… eventually claiming that he had “multiple records in his system with the last 4 digits”. What a boat load. Finally told him that SSA wouldn’t ask for my full number (again), and since he kept trying to do so, I no longer trusted him and said I now thought he was some kind of fraud. He did the usual -‘officers will come to arrest you’ bit, and I did the required “milk and cookies for them” reply, and he hung up.
