Laptop suggestions

Good morning fellow scambaiters!!! Sooo yesterday i went to go buy a laptop an found out that the acer chromebooks 15 dont support oracle or vmware can i get a few suggestions on which other brand is good an compatible to run a vm thanxz in advance!!:grin::call_me_hand:

Nothing over 200 dollars is my budget right now

Hmm running a Windows 7 or 10 VM on a $200 box might be a bit of a challenge. I think you are probably looking at something used/refurbished for sure. Maybe check Craiglist where you are if possible (be careful of stolen stuff for sale).

Sorry this is a little over your budget but has the memory, storage space and processor to run a decent VM.

Oh or this one is at your budget ($+6.99 shipping). It is refurb but still has a 1 year warranty. Would probably want to add a cheap traditional HDD at some point for additional storage

@gmason#101540 i was at best buy an they told me that i would need an i5 laptop to be able to run the iso file

@gmason#101542 that one not a bad price i was even thinking of going alil over those 200 dollars

Although you do need a decent processor, not necessarily an i5.

@gmason#101545 ohhh okay i see so the one in the link would be something good to start off with?

@gmason#101545 hey is a intel(R) Core™ i7-3610QM 2.30GHz 2301mhz 4Core(s) 8 logical the ram is 8gb is that good for a VM?

Its a hp pavilion dv7 beats kind

@Scambaiter956#101562 Sorry just coming back to this. Yeah the processor could run a VM pretty run. You could run a VM with that memory but may want a little more down the road.

@gmason#101981 no problem so am i hahah xD coool i took it to get my windows installed an activated my brother sold me that laptop for 50 bucks lol thanxz g-man!!!:grin::call_me_hand:
