Got a text from “Landmark Credit Union” about someone trying to change my PIN, but I don’t have an open account with said bank/credit union. So, I did a simple who-is reverse search on the domain that they tried to link me to, and they done f’d up. We’re talking full name, address, phone number, etc. All from Pakistan this time around. According to who-is, the person who registered the site is an Amjed Iqbal and registered under the organization of “Softdreams.” Full whois info link here: Whois pirrehmatshah.com (archived here just in case). I don’t know if the main site was overtaken and this subsite added or if our proprietor of palm reading and astrology has decided to branch out into phishing and account takeovers to make ends meet.
