Kolkata insurance scammers SHUT DOWN by Bidhannagar Police

Earlier today, the Bidhannagar Police in India announced that a raid was conducted against a scam call center located directly under the Survey Park Police Station in Kolkata, West Bengal. The scammers made fraudulent cold calls under the identity of an employee with the Bajaj Allianz Insurance Company to regularly steal funds from their recipients to avail benefits of a lapsed policy opened by their parent(s).

Eight individuals were arrested, 5 males and 3 females.

Police also seized 137 Vi and Airtel SIM cards, a dailer, mobile phones, forged documents, ATM Cards and customer data.

Scambaiters help one more to get taken down, we only have another twenty thousand more to go, but this game is about bringing these misguided idiots down, and I think scambaiters and others definitely have an effect on that damn fraud system.
