since tuesday, ive been getting calls with the same state and area code, but different ID every time, they leave a 7 second blank voice message, and use textnow. If anybody knows what this is, let me know.

I am facing the same issue since the last 24 hrs.
From my experience, scambaiters' numbers are spoofed and are used by spammers to give missed calls. Being a scambaiter, I have pissed a scammer so bad, he actually used my number to call hundreds of people, and in turn some of them called back asking me why did i call them?!?!?!
So, to summarize, just ignore such calls.
