Hey guys, was pointed in your direction by a tech savvy friend after nearly getting scammed by a gentleman named “Justin” after a fake pop-up for my internet security for Kaspersky directed me to call their number, what was spooky was that the error on the pop-up matched a problem that was announced on the MyKaspersky official website. But I digress.
The number was 0800 041 8264
Searching the number online I came across this very poorly written website as well: http://www.kasperskysupport.uk
Unfortunately I gave the scammer a small amount of access to my pc but fortunately managed to terminate the call and online session before being charged any money. (Even I know that IP addresses are not “Trojan wirusses”)
My tech savvy friend has helped me wipe and reset my hard drive and boot my pc again, I’ve also changed all my passwords. But even with all this I still feel sick to my stomach and am unable to sleep, I wish I could do what you guys do to get revenge on these scumbags but I lack the technical skills so will just say thank you sincerely for doing what you do.
