On October 26, 2025, I came across a video from @mrwn on Kamal Shukla, a bhenchod from Lucknow who was facilitating technical support scams from his home under the identity of “Max from Microsoft and Hewlett-Packard”
How his scam works is that:
- He or his co-conspirators would create fake virus popups, urging the victim to call and grant him remote access to their computer with QuickAssist so he could then install UltraViewer.
- Kamal will then run “security scans” with the “dir/s” command in the Command Prompt, scaring the victim into trying to purchase a “firewall wifi network.”
- In this case, the victim was asked to write an e-Check to his company and have him simply run the Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool whilst having the Task Manager open.
From December and January alone, Kamal had scammed 20 people out of $9,496 on behalf of his company, Peritus E Serve.
The company is headquartered in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, but falsely claims to operate out of the United States as
- Frank System, Inc., or “Frank Computer Expert” from Dover, Delaware, which falsely claims to be a “payment processing partner with Hewlett-Packard.”
- Secure Services, LLP, which is still active at the time of writing.
- Be Digital Shop
- Setup4Printer
- “Geek Live Support” from Dover, Delaware and Ontario, Canada.
- “24/7 Printer Fix” from Ruston, Louisiana.
- “Wingcore Technology”
