To be honest, if you could provide a little info like “Social Security” or “refund” or Amazon," it would help. If the scammer just answers “hello,” we are at a disadvantage if they are waiting for scambaiter. Also, once in a blue moon, there might be a “legitimate” spammer (where they will provide a service, even if they are annoying as heck making unsolicited phone calls), and they are not a “scammer” ( who just wants your credit card, Social Security number, and will never provide anything in return).
