202-379-4878 – These were the two stooges. I would rather talk to a 4-year-old. Jeffrey hung up after I started asking questions and I called back and got Jason but he transferred me to Jeffrey who transferred me back to Jeffrey who was really not very bright. Funny, I don’t keep my husband on my doorstep. I actually let him in the house. They don’t listen and they keep asking the same questions over and over. Ugh.

@JusticeinTexas#34971 I have been trying to hack into these Fake IRS phone systems. This number was very interesting. When I call them there is a second ring. At that second ring if I enter in the DTMF digits pound and star. I get a message. After that message it says to enter the star digit if this is not my extension. So I entered the DTMF star digit. It then asks for an extension. I type the DTMF extension of 1000. It then says to enter my pass-code. I enter the DTMF digits 0000 followed by a DTMF pound key. At this point I am in someone voice mail. I made a greeting with my fake name of “Donald Trump” and an away greeting with the same name. Maybe someone else knows how to hack further into their phone system.

@JusticeinTexas#34971 These guys are a bunch of idiots! “Your tax file has a white flag on it”. It must have surrendered to the higher authority and now has a white surrender flag. What a bunch of boneheads.

When I was fooling around in their phone system, I heard them answer. It echoed like they were in a big warehouse and they were talking about 3 feet from the mic.

Mike Wallace ?

@JusticeinTexas#34971 HaHaHaHaHaHa. Their phone line now answers with my voice. It says “Donald Trump is busy and cannot take your call”.

@JusticeinTexas#34971 Ok, now I have a good recording. It says “This number is a scam, do not call here again”. I hope that is appropriate to warn anyone who calls this number.

@JusticeinTexas#34971 Their messaging system has now been hacked by me. All greetings and announcements will be with my voice that states “This phone number is an IRS Scam. Do not call here again. Do not inform these people about this message.”. I also deleted all of their voice mails. In the 10 minute period after I deleted these voice mails, They received 8 more voicemails. For everyone that sees this post, please do not let these people know that their voice mail has been hacked. Thank you.

@JusticeinTexas#34971

I got a message says it’s a irs scam don’t call back

So wtf it means?

Never mind. It pays to read slowly.

@AlanGreen2#35013 Awesome job.

@JusticeinTexas#36634 Thank you.

@erikk77 made a small video of the greeting message: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dduVEVcHX0w

@AlanGreen2#36656 You both do great work. I do love your voice, though!

@AlanGreen2#34988 Great. After that you can change the assess password number.

I did that a few times.

Here we talk-https://phone.firertc.com/calls/5b369a2b7475633c953f0000/recording

@drwat#36689 Yes I changed the access password. They will hopefully not be able to get into it unless they reset their phone system.

Recently, I have noticed that the IRS scammer numbers that were active during the day, if I call them at night when the scammers have gone home, I find many where the voice mail greetings were changed to have a warning message about the scammer. It's too bad that there isn't a way to make those phone systems go permanently to a voice mail greeting when the scammers are answering. But it is better than nothing. At least the people that received the IRS scammers message later on at night, when they call the scammers number, they will find out that it was a scam.

I logged into this scammers voice mail later on that night. There were almost 100 more voice mail messages. I deleted all of them. All of the voice mails were either hang ups or people that were making fun of the scammer.

@AlanGreen2#36694 A good Samaritan did the same to fake IRS 1-314-596-8362. In this case two callers seemed worried so the Samaritan called these two and made them aware of the scam

@drwat#36708 That’s very good of the good Samaritan. I was going through the voice mails for the same reason. I would have done the same thing. The next day the number no longer answered. These fake IRS people change their numbers so often. More likely the phone number was changed, but the greeting I left was still on their phone system.

@AlanGreen2#36970 So true, the IRS/CRA/SSA scammers change the phone numbers very frequently.

The number is no longer in service.

Good job everyone!!
