Jasvir Singh ARRESTED for facilitating SSA scam

On July 15, 2025, the Sausalito Police Department in California ARRESTED 35-year-old Jasvir Singh for facilitating a Social Security scam, where:

  • the scammers will send a fraudulent text message claiming a purchase was made through Apple Pay, urging their elderly victim to call a designated “suppoat” line.
  • the bhenchod who answers the call will then transfer the call to coworkers posing as their victims’ bank (in this case, Wells Fargo) and the United States Federal Trade Commission
  • In order to “protect” their bank account, the victim will be asked to withdraw $25,000 from their bank account and hand it off to a designated courier, or money mule.
  • After the initial payment was made, the scammers will ask their victim for an additional $25,000.

Singh was charged with suspected embezzlement from an elderly person and obtaining money by false pretenses, though he has been released on a $50,000 bail pending a review by prosecutors.

I honestly believe that people who enter America from foreign countries just to scam and steal should receive the death penalty or life in the worst prison we can put them in. They lied about their intentions to come to this country and we can make sure they end up in a box.
