Scam Number: 607 299-6930
Scammer just called at 7:10 PM, EST.
He asked for me, by name (one of the names I use when baiting).
He told me that there is a problem with my social security number and it will be deleted by the end of the month. He then told me that he would need my verifying information to stop my SS security number from being suspended.
I told him that was fine, I’d just log onto SSA.Gov and do it there.
He told me that I can’t do that because my identity cannot be confirmed that way, it has to be over the phone 
He abruptly said that I need to stand by my phone and a “senior agent” would call me back in about 10 minutes.
I guess we’ll see what happens.
This is the second Jamaican SSA scammer that I’ve spoken to in the past week. Is this a new trend?
