When I search on the forum using carrier format, no results appeared.

If something does exist, I will cease to post the number or link the previous post if it has been a bit of time. Apologies in advance.

Your good! Gotta keep busy somehow.

No, I’ve learned by doing extra research and other people given me advice on want to do. Now I understand a little more what not to do.

Yeah, some people promote the culture of “your number”, “my number”. In my opinion, it’s a scammer’s number, so we ought to work on it regardless of when or by whom it was discovered.

The Scammer called us back, and this is where he is located. My friend works in Military intelligence and has tools. He told me he is sure this is where the call came from.

Hmmm, not sure.

Scammers are known to visit the US often to scope out victims. If this is true, a hotel would be reasonable.

What was the phone number of the user?

(888) 280-0530

(833) 241-5739

(917) 275-0843

And that’s how a Jamaican scammer who came to the US to ‘scope’ out a potential victim, who turned out to be a former FBI director was arrested?

I can’t tell you - it is nearly impossible to route a phone call to its exact location, especially through all the fake VoIP lines scammers use. Im sure there are many ways approximate location can be gained through cell tower signals, and especially from others.

What allowed William Webster’s scammer to be captured was that he began using a Jamaican line. The carrier was contacted, and the GPS of the Jamaican phone can be traced easily.

I doubt what the user above said is true. Hotels are also the location of many cell towers.

Hmm… intelligence works in wierd ways… someone commented on that video that scams would stop if this happened on a much higher frequency, like going to their country and dragging them back, but they are a bunch of lazybones.
