It's time to stop

Seriously,

Posting your friend's numbers, indian restaurants, innocent people's phone numbers, is an instant ban. We're not dumb, we know when a non-scam number is posted, so stop being stupid. All that's going to happen is your account will be banned, and in some cases, your IP will be banned.

We also ban suspicious accounts, such as using fake emails, VPN IPs, etc...

Ugh I hate when they ruin the purpose of this fourm.

This is unacceptable that people do this. If you want to post random numbers for innocent people and others do it elsewhere. This forum is for scammers only.

Hear hear. I don’t want to end up calling someone’s grandma. That’s just awful.

i completely agree with you guys

Here, here. I had enjoyed calling these spammers since I found this site. My better half would say " what the heck are you doing?" I would say driving the scammers insane. Keep up the good work, and shame on you loser who try to make us crank call your grandmother.

Let’s hope it’s not some scammer who might of infiltrated this website.

@thunder#24311 ive had a situation where i posted the number of a tech support scammer, and people kept telling me it was a barbershop, so i copy/pasted the number i posted into firertc from my post just to be sure i didn’t type the number wrong, and sure enough, they answered as tech support again. what would happen if that situation or something similar arose again?

@Shrrade#25311 I check every number manually, if you’re a known user you won’t be banned instantly for doing this.

I agree why would people waste innocent peoples time but not scammers some of them

I once called a number, and the person who posted it had a link I checked as well, and it seemed like a definite scam. When I called it was some Indian Hotel Place or something… I got a little annoyed.

@thunder#24311

does this mean i can’t post ip address and location of a actual scammer ?

If it is i have to delete some posts

@robin82194#25814 That should be fine.

Just be careful with this:
4. Do not talk about anything illegal here, such as DDoS attacks, doxing, etc. You may discuss such things as long as you are not actively involved or promoting it.

I wonder if they are getting a lot of prank calls from us it wouldn’t surprise me if they somehow forward their phone number to some poor innocent person to throw us off then switch it back an hour later.

It’s happened before.

I am disgusted of the people that do that, I think that is a very appropriate action with an instant ban, keep making this community better @thunder!

@thunder#25314 okay, thank you for the clarification

I just literally had to flag an innocent number because at first I thought they were a scammer and then the post was taken down nearly instantly so just do that if you see any.

Thank you. I am so glad you are publicly announcing this, as action needs to be taken! Thanks so much!

Keep in mind sometimes a really old post might have a number where they changed it and a real person buys it. That’s happened to me before. If I do that, check that it’s not an old post before you ban meh plz

But I totally agree otherwise.
