I was also a victim of this scam. They charged $300 in iTunes cards. I called my bank immediately for fraud. Chase credited my acct and sent a new card. 3 days ago I received a letter from the bank stating the are charging me the $300 and that I need to take it up with the merchant. I called Walmart and 2 days later they told me that Walmart is not in a position to refund fraud. The charges were made, an email was sent with e-cards and they said it was opened. I never received an email nor did I open it. I’m a grandmother on a fixed income. Because of the reversal I don’t have enough for food or medication this month. Lessened learned. I hope I can make through the month, I guess i’ll find out soon enough.
