Sounds legit to me. I called, went through the answering machine, and listened as a woman introduced herself. I am pretty sure it is legit.

Based on the link I shared, most of them received an Email or a text. none of them got a call. Also, if u use numlookup it will appear as “TOLL FREE NUMBER” unlike the real BOA number

So it’s most likely a scam.
