I called and spoke to Jack, the Senior Officer at the IRS (wow!) He says “I don’t like colors.” I transferred his call to the gaandu department.

so its confirmed scammer and the number is not spoofed?

As I wrote in the original post, it was answered by a scammer pretending to be IRS when I called earlier today.

It’s definitely a scammer. He said he was an “IRS executive” and that I needed to connect to the IRS secure server, AKA Ultraviewer, so I could fill out a form so my tax refund can be released. They are getting crafty.
