IRS Scam - June 7 at 7:47am PST

Another fake IRS call on my drive to work. Unfortunately I do not have a recording because I was using TextNow. They started with their script. I told them I was George Burns and my address was 40 Wall Street, New York 10005. After informing me that I had an warrant for my arrest and that I owed something like 3500 and some odd cents, he then transferred me to his "Higher authority". Which he said was his attorney. I said why the H do I need to talk to your attorney? When the "Higher authority" came on the phone he asked me if I had ever been arrested. I told him that I was arrested previously for killing someone and that I just got out of jail. This didn't phase him. He then told me that I had an warrant for my arrest. I told him that I don't care. It was at this point that I arrived at my work. So said "Listen to me", "People do not get arrested for not paying taxes". I said I don't believe a word you say. I told him he was a scammer. He said FU to me and I called him a F'ing Benchode. He then hung up on me.

@AlanGreen2#33291 That is too funny. I asked one guy who his higher authority was, the President, Putin or God. As per usual, he just ignored what I said, Very clever with the arrest thing. I may use that, if it is okay with you. They are so stuck on their script that they just don’t listen. They also can’t figure out that the IRS rounds up to the largest number and that is a dead giveaway when they say you own “5837 dollar and 54 cent”. Great job as usual!

@AlanGreen2#33291 I called them and they were really very strange. It is not worth posting a 1 minute and a 5-minute recording. The first guy said he was Able Smith (what kind of name is that?) and he started the script and I said I don’t know what you are talking about and can you confirm you have the right person? He said yes without asking my name and hung up. So I called back and got another guy and told him we got disconnected and he started with the same script but he asked my name and could not figure it out. Then he started with the non-bailable arrest warrant and I said WHAT? in shock of course. And so he says do you know anything about this? Um, what does WHAT? mean. I said we filed jointly and why was this in my name? He asked when I last worked and I said 2004., He was actually speechless as if he never heard of a stay at home wife and mother before. So he did not know what to do and he said he would check with the Goathouse and send me a letter. I asked him to confirm my address and he could not, of course. That is when I told him he was a fake and a phony. It was his turn to say VAT? I said you are a fake and a phony and a liar and you are not the IRS. Of course, I got the usual FU and hang up. Not the brightest crayons in the box.

@JusticeinTexas#33299 Yes you can use the arrest thing. This was not my idea. I heard a video on YouTube from Troy Hightower. Here is a link to his video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQgk4EhsdoQ&t=2s

He leads them on to believe that he went to jail before for killing someone when he was asked by the fake IRS if he was ever arrested. Then later in the video he leads them to believe that he went to Walmart to get the tax payment cards. At the point where he was going to give the fake IRS the numbers from the cards, he says how can I trust you. He says to them that he was not going to go home and that he was going to hide out again as a fugitive. The fake IRS gets extremely frustrated with him. The video is almost an hour long. Its is something else how he was able to manipulate the fake IRS throughout this video.

@AlanGreen2#33328 Excellent! Like the time I got the guy to go on for 2 days. It is not easy. But I had help from my husband who came home in the middle of the first day and I stuck a piece of paper in his face saying “Be the UPS Man”. “Be a 10-year-old girl” “Be the manager of the Grocery” “Be the Manager of Dollar General.” He did a great job of it and when I finally got tired the guy called me back over 40 times and texted my burner. Then it started over the next day and I led him on ALL day until I finally called him out. I don’t know if you have read that one, here it is. You have to read the whole thread to find out how it ends!

Y’all must have bombed them! First time I’ve tried to call this number and I can’t get through

@AlanGreen2#33291 One scammer once told a scambaiter that he would connect him to the “Supreme Authority”.

@JusticeinTexas#33329 That is quite a way to keep them busy. Good job.

@AlanGreen2#33397 Thank you, kind sir. It was both fun and tiring at the same time. He was really a pest. What was really the funniest part was that several weeks later I called a number and got the same guy at the same call center and I said, This is Lucy, Shawn and you told me you were getting out of scamming people. I got the usual FU and hang up. I wonder how much trouble he got into for wasting all that time and not making a cent. I hope a whole lot!
