Called this number on my drive to work. They answered and said they were the IRS. I told them that I got a call from this number. He asked if I got a voice mail and I said yes. Then he asked for my case ID. I said the voice mail was really garbled and I could not hear the case ID. At that point I thought he hung up. However, a couple seconds later I could hear him talking. I was using TextNow on my cell phone and I think I lost the cell data signal at that point in the conversation. I was driving by a hill at the time. After that the phone call was lost. Maybe someone else will have better luck. I'll try this number later on in the day.
