I have been calling them this morning. They answer pretty regularly. In one of the calls, I told them my fake name, then the guy said he would look up my name and put me on hold for a long time. Then he came back to me and asked if I was from Texas. Then he hung up on me. I was calling from a California number. They always answer with “IRS how may I help you”.
