Additional information about this scam: This site displays a “Windows Support” scam page (found it via an infected Google AdSense ad on a site). When I go to the link using my sandbox on a non-VPN connection, the scam page shows up. But when I attempt to obfuscate my IP address using a VPN or plugin, it displays a seemingly normal (non-scam) page. I’ve reported the link to Google and Microsoft but they have not flagged it as I’m pretty sure they are seeing the “good” page and not the scam page. Attached is a screenshot of the “bad” page.
Sounds like they migrated from airline scam to refund. One call center keeps switching from airline to paypal, I wonder if it’s the same one
