Posted to an elderly friend who is habitually targeted. Quite an insistent attitude. Indian. Hung up when I strung it out and mentioned clicking on the line.

Couldn’t find a record of this online except https://whocalled.cn/0743515 which claims its a Chinese number.

Typical. Peter is a commonly used “white name” by scammers. I’ve searched for the number and cannot find anything on it. I’ve heard of scammers using Chinese numbers to target Chinese citizens but never heard of them targeting non-Chinese citizens. It’s perplexing, for sure. It may be a good idea to create a topic for the number and see if people can shed some light. Good luck.
