Extra Info: My moms friend instagram account has been compromised I believe and I want you guys to ruin this scammer. I believe she may have given her password out to a scammer or gotten hacked. She was never really involved with things like cash app so I’m certain this is a scam. Also, they privated her account. Let’s see you guys drive these people up the walls 
Call instagram first and foremost to get back your account. Getting your account back is more important than ruining the scammer
Indeed. We never know how scammers might be “making back” lost time (e.g. some tech support scam popup sellers seem to “refund” call centers for “prank calls” if they purchased a certain amount of inbound calls from the scam popup sellers), so the most important thing is to get your account back while you can.
