Found this guy on Instagram. Your typical Western Union or Moneygram cash flip scam. Can’t find the post but it was under the account of someone named Amanda and it says to text cash to the number. Took him a few hours to respond the first time via text. Uses textnow.
Said his name was Charles White. Had me go to walmart and send to Rupert O'Connor Bronx new York (his merchant banker). Gave them fake mtcn. Then said he couldn't receive it, which we figured out was because I didn't send "money in minutes". Had me refund it back but I said my account was blocked now from fraudulent activity. Had me go to another western union but I said my ID was blocked. Had me go to Moneygram and I gave him fake reference number. Then I called him from "the bar" next door while I waited for him to flip the cash. Sounds like they want me to go refund the money again and use a prepaid service but the moneygram place was closed so he had me go back home where I told him I had a credit card. Been messing around with them for a couple hours. Sounds Jamaican but speaks and understands american english well. Very desperate but smarter than the average scammer doing this although he seems to have no clue about scambaiters. Was up really late last night talking to him. Tried to get my DOB, SSN and credit card number (gave him a burner card). Told him I went back to the moneygram to get my money resent but they would only refund and they were calling the fraud department. Now want me to do a walmart to walmart transfer.
