On December 13, 2024, police in Noida, India conductrd a raid against “Insta Solution,” an illegal call center in Sector 63 that facilitated tech support, refund, parcel support, tax support and payday loan scams against American residents, whose personal details were acquired through Skype and purchased with the cryptocurrency USDT. 76 individuals (9 men and 67 women) were arrested, including the following Gujarati kingpins with known criminal records:
Absolutely great news! Now let us hope that the Police and criminal justice system doesn’t release them or make them a perverted version of an Indian Robinhood.
Well, all of these raids, arrests and publicly have, in my experience over the past several years, been nothing more than a dog and pony show.
Sadly, the corrupt legal and judicial system in India is well documented and in the overwhelming vast majority of cases, absolutely nothing is done.
I’ve yet to see it anyway.
I had to agree with you on that one
what I heard was they’re paying off all the Indian police
any scammers think they’re going to get away with murder
if they start busting all these corrupt police
pay these police officer to turn a blind eye
they need to fix that problem meanly
Exactly right. Paying off officials is SOP and the laws in India are over the top.
Victims have to write legal documents, tons of proof is needed, victims must participate in the process and on and on.
People like Jim Browning, and many others spend months collecting data, computer files, victims information, recordings of all the calls and more and, in the end, nothing happens to the scammers or the bosses.
They’re usually back to scamming within months.
There aren’t even any tax issues over the millions and millions they scam from foreigners because no money is due made with foreign countries.
This could all end pretty quickly if the US government went after the carriers (like the Nordic countries do) and cut the 16 BILLION in aid that we, the people, send to India annually.
