Both Infoserv and Webistic LLC have been discovered to be operating as part of a tech support scam. The business is run by Preety Tak and Ankur Tak. Residents of Haymarket Virginia.

This is a classic tech support scam. They lured victims in with alleging to be able to help with tech issues. In my experience, pretending to be support for printers. The agents would sometimes fix issues. Other times the agents would pull things like event viewer and claim the victim had viruses without even running a virus scan. InfoServ LLC Was the company being used to charge victims under. Webistic LLC was the company that victims were given as a point of contact upon making a payment to the company. Usually costing victims 3-5x more money than what a typical repair shop or tech support would charge for actual certified technicians.

The publicly listed business address appears to also be the Tak’s place of residence.

Since the business is operated by criminals living in Virginia, I think it would make sense to report them to Virginia State Police. I usually have much better luck and success with State investigators than the Feds. Here is the link to report them:

That is a fake address.
they don’t operate from there or have anything to do with the property

this is the house…looks nice but it isn’t theirs
